Welcome to Lights On

Welcome to Lights On

Hello everyone, my name is April C. October 18, 2007, Jackson Street Boys and Girls Club of Delaware celebrated Lights On Afterschool. The event was fabolous! We all came together in one room and introduced lights on to the children and parents that has never heard of this event before. The teens performed a rap about our club, and we even had dancers perform as well a representative from the Pegasus Artworks. Food was served and activities were in progress. Some activities included a volcano science project, drawing contest(color-a-mug),jump shot contest, trivia for parents and a moon bouce for the smaller children. We also had a tour for parents that have never been to our site before.

All the children had a great time playing games and winning prizes. This event is something to remember and I would be happy to do it again. Thanks Lights ON AfterSchool!
